İmişli head coach Fərid Namazov has been dismissed from his position after the club terminated his one-year contract ahead of schedule. Namazov took charge in the summer replacing Jorge Casquilha, overseeing 1 team victory, 1 draw, and 5 defeats across 7 matches.
Poor results prompted club leadership to part ways with the 34-year-old coach, though his successor has not yet been named. Previously, Namazov led the team to promotion in the 2024/2025 season and holds a UEFA Pro license with experience at Qarabağ and various national youth teams.
