The 2026/2027 Misli Premyer Liqasi season opened with the 6th round, featuring a match between Qəbələ and Neftçi at the Qəbələ City Stadium. Referee Cavid Cəlilov officiated the fixture, which marked Neftçi's 1000th match in national championship history.
