Neftçi player Sessi Dalmeyda has received a call-up to the Benin national team for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches. The Benin selection will face Burkina Faso on September 25 and Mauritania on September 29, followed by a friendly match against Argentina on October 6.
Neftçi acquired D’Almeyda in the summer of 2025 from the Cypriot club Apollon Limassol for 200 thousand euros on a 2+1 year contract. During his time at the capital club, he has appeared in 26 games, recording 1 goal and 1 assist.
