Qarabağ edge past Şəfa with narrow home win
Qarabağ defeated Şəfa 1-0 in the Misli Premyer Liqasi thanks to a 61st-minute penalty from Marko Janković at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium.
Qarabağ hosted Şəfa in the 6th round of the Azərbaycan Premyer Liqası on September 18 at the Tofiq Bəhramov adına Respublika Stadionu in Baku, securing a 1-0 victory in front of 1200 spectators. Marko Yankoviç scored the sole goal of the match from a penalty in the 61st minute.
Vüqar Həsənli officiated the fixture as the head referee, with Kamranbəy Rəhimov operating the VAR. Umar Diav received a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct in the 72nd minute.
Qurban Qurbanov managed Qarabağ while Zaur Həşimov led Şəfa.
