The Georgian Football Federation has parted ways with Willy Sagnol by mutual consent, appointing Ramaz Svanadze as national team manager until 2028.

The Georgian Football Federation has mutually terminated its contract with head coach Willy Sagnol, who had led the national team since 2021. Ramaz Svanadze has been appointed as the new head coach of the Georgian national team on a contract running until 2028. Svanadze previously worked in Azerbaijan as an assistant to Zaur Svanadze at Inter, which is now known as Şamaxı.
