Sabah secured a 3-1 victory over İmişli in the 6th round of the Misli Premyer Liqasi at the Masazır Arena in front of 1,150 spectators. The opening goal came in the 20th minute when Sadiq Məmmədzadə inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
Umarali Rahmonaliyev doubled the lead in the 35th minute before Ronaldo de Souza pulled one back for İmişli in the 90th minute. Kahim Parris sealed the result with a goal in the 95th minute.
The match saw several yellow cards and a late red card issued to Luis Silvestr for insulting the referee in the 91st minute.
