Portuguese goalkeeper Tiago Silva has joined Şəfa as a free agent after leaving Zirə this summer. The 26-year-old player signed a contract running until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
Tiago Silva spent the last three seasons in Azerbaijan playing for Zirə, where he made 189 appearances, conceded 77 goals, and kept 37 clean sheets. A product of Benfica, the goalkeeper previously played for Vitória in Guimarães, Leixões, and Trofense, and also represented Portugal's U-15, U-16, U-18, and U-19 national teams.
