The story
Hosted the 2019 UEFA Europa League final — Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal in front of 51,370. It also staged four UEFA Euro 2020 matches including a quarter-final, the 2015 European Games, and COP29 in November 2024. Qarabağ's record home crowd of 67,200 came here against Roma in 2017.
Ground broken June 2011, opened 6 March 2015. Built by Tekfen and funded by SOCAR. UEFA used a net figure of 68,700 for Euro 2020.
