The story

Inaugurated in 2007 for Karvan FK, a club that reached the Azerbaijan Cup final in 2006 and then dissolved. It found a second life as one of the two grounds — with Tovuz — that housed Kəpəz during the two seasons between the demolition of the old Ganja stadium and the opening of its replacement in September 2025.

Capacity is listed as 7,000 by Wikipedia's article text and 5,000 in the national stadium list. Central location on the Kur river, roughly halfway between Ganja and Barda.
